Three council positions for a four-year term to take office January 2027.

Filing for these offices is from July 14th until July 28th, 2026 with the City Clerk/Treasurer at the City Office. Filing hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, Fridays, 8 am to 2 pm. The office will be open until 5:00 pm on July 30th for candidate filing withdrawls. The filing fee is $2.00. In order to run for municipal office, you must be 21 years of age when assuming office and will have been a resident of the City of Dawson for at least 30 days prior to the election. The Municipal Election is conducted with the General Election which will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026.
