Wednesday, June 22

Baseball Merchant’s Night
DB 7th & 8th grade BB Game at 5:00pm. Dawson vs Minneota, Dawson Drakes vs Minneota Mudhens at 8:00pm.  Both Games played on Nelson Field.  Merchant's giveaways throughout the game.


Thursday, June 23   

Riverfest Kickball Tourney

Games begin at 6 pm at Prestholdt Fields.  Entry is $50 per team.  1st place $150 - 2nd place $75 - 3rd place $50.  Must be 21 years or older to play.  Contact Chris Schacherer 507-829-1101 to register

Dawson Co-op Credit Union 18-hole Golf Tourney
12:30pm. Tee off, bring your own 4 person team, cost $25/person. Must register with Josh, 769-2908.

Gnome Story Telling-11:00 am-Noon @ Library Mezzanine

Tim's Food Pride Appreciation Lunch-11am-1pm Serving Hamburgers & Hot Dogs with beans, chips, watermelon and Beverage for $5.

Minnwest Bank Coin Dig & Root Beer Floats-Noon-1 pm in Minnwest Parking Lot.  Sand coin dig for ages 1-10.  3 age catagories.

Bank Museum Event-1:30pm "Reflections of Reporter W.G. Hill" $5 per person/max of 25 people.  Call Sharilyn at 752-4478 for reservations.  For private tours throughout the weekend, call Janet@ 320-269-1443.

Canoe Races
3:30pm. 2-person teams. Registration fee is the $5 price of a Riverfest button.  Three Divisions:  Grade 5-8; Grade 9-12; 18 and older.  Prizes awarded in Chamber Bucks.  Meet at the walking bridge dock.  Canoes provided.  Lifejackets required. Coordinated by Greg Wyum, 320-226-0229.

5K Fun Run & 2 Mile Trail Walk

Registration 8:00 am. 9am check-in with 9:30am start at Swimming Pool.  Swim/Bike?Run competition for Grades K-6.  Register online at jmhsmn.org/jmhs-kids-mini-triathlon .  All participants will receive a t-shirt with 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places receiving medals for both boys and girls from each catagory.

Fishing Contest- 8am-2pm at Riverside Park,  Registration fee is a Riverfest Button.  Fish on the LQP River and bring your catch to Riverside Park at 2 pm Saturday to be weighed with Terry & Jeri Popma. Prizes - $25 Bonus Bucks (1 prize per winner)  Largest Walleye, Largest Northern and Largest Catfish Coordinators:  Jeri and Terry Popma 320-226-9735

9am-4pm at Swimming Pool Park.  Children's Carnival, Silent Auction, Bake Sale, Plant Sale, & Dunk Tank.

Riverfest Craft, Vendor, & Flea Market- 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Dawson Swimming Pool Park, Exhibitors are welcome!  Bring your tables, and chairs for more information or to reserve a spot call Pat @ 320-226-0530.  Right now we have over 30 vendors with papparazi, Tupperware, Thirty one bags, pampered chef, tastefully simple, metal arts, wood art, gnomes, diamond arts, sewing, crochet items, Karma Korn and more, still room for more and a must visit!

3pm at Swimming Pool Park (1st Street).  Area fire departments competing. 

Hilltop Dance & Fireman's Raffle
 Featuring FM All Stars, 9pm-1am.  Advance Tickets available at the Hilltop for $10 each or $15 at the door.  Firemen's CASH RAFFLE drawing at 11pm. Tickets available from local firefighters.

 Softball Tournament - starting at 10am at Prestholdt Fields

RIVERFEST CO-ED SAND VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT- 10:00 a.m. at the sand volleyball court-swimming pool park.  Entry $20 per team 4 person team (subs are allowed) at least one member of the opposite sex must be playing at all times.  3 game matches, best 2 of 3  Double elimination Tournament.  1st Prize $60 2nd Prize $40 3rd Prize $20  to sign up contact Hailey Gritmacker 507-829-2237

Riverfest Grand Parade
2pm. Line up Starting @ 1pm.  Line up at JMHS west parking lot.    Route is east on Locust Street to Main Street then west on Pine Street. No registration required.  Coordinated by the Dawson-Boyd Police Department
