Snowman/Yeti  Snow Sculpture Contest - 1st Place $100 in Chamber Bucks; 2nd Place $50 in Chamber Bucks.  Register at the Dawson Sentinel Office by stopping in or calling 320-769-2497 or email to dawsonsentinel@frontiernet.net.  Deadline to sign up is Friday, January 27th at 10 a.m.  The Contest will be judged by the Dawson Chamber of Commerce.

Merchants will be holding in-store specials for Winterfest!

Find the Winterfest Medallion for $100 in Bonus Bucks!

Clues are new weekly in the newspaper and daily on the radio at KLQP-FM 92.1.  The Medallion is hidden on public property.  If you find it, turn it into the Dawson Sentinel Office for your prize!

Clue#1

The news is out, the medallion's hidden, be sure to look where it's not forbidden.

Clue#2

Come to the place where people yell, Find that Medallion and you'll be swell.

Clue#3

When the loud noises begin, our feathered friends hide.  Find the Medallion and you will have pride.

To find the Medallion, you have to look first--not in an Elm, but search to be reimbersed
